“Forever Chemicals” have made headlines, but what exactly are per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)? This self-paced eLearning course delves into PFAS, explaining how these synthetic chemicals are increasingly found in water systems, becoming a significant concern in the water sector.

The course aims to provide comprehensive information on the PFAS issue, particularly its impact on drinking water. It covers the EPA’s integrated approach to PFAS, including essential requirements and best practices for water monitoring, testing, treatment, disposal, and effective interested party communication.
