The specifications are intended for use in connection with Part B (Sampling, Inspection, Packing and Marking) and Part C (Testing Methods) of this document. The principle changes incorporated in this revision are: an expanded foreword to present historical information on development of the standard and information on use of trisodium phosphate; addition of new sections - Sec. 3A-Information to Be Supplied by the Purchaser, and Sec. 4A-Affidavit of Compliance; rewriting of Sec. 8A-Rejection, to expand and clarify the definition of the requirements for testing; and, enlargement of Sec. 4B-Marking, to allow for a manufacturer's warranty that the product meets the AWWA Standard.
