Objectives

  • Identify key properties of water. This will provide the basic knowledge needed to understand chemical reactions in the environment.
  • We will also discuss the periodic table and how it is set up. This is key to understanding how to use the periodic table and what information can be gained through it.
  • We will also perform basic water treatment operator calculations during the course.
  • Finally, we will delve into some basic chemistry principles, especially those that pertain to water.
