This standard describes epichlorohydrin dimethylamine (EPI-DMA) polyamines for water supply service applications.
Description
Major changes made to the standard in this revision include the following: a limit was placed on the allowable concentration of Dimethylamine of 1.2% by weight (Sec. 4.6); Sec. 5.1, material origin outside of North America was removed; and, additional marking requirements (Sec. 6.1) include production facility identification that is traceable through the supplier to the location of production.
